Graduate candidates need to have an "exit interview" with the counselor to submit the necessary forms for graduation. more on credits >> Graduates who have completed ALL requirements, completed an Exit Interview with the counselor, completed this graduation application and paid the $10 diploma fee will be awarded their diplomas one time a year – diplomas are printed only in June. Students diplomas will be mailed after the Graduation Ceremony by U.S. mail within 10 to 15 working days following the June Ceremony (with completion of the Graduation Application and payment of fees). If you have completed or are about to complete the requirements for your high school diploma, this is a great accomplishment! We, in the School of Continuing Education, are very proud of you! Once you have completed all credits, you are cordially invited to participate in the upcoming Graduation & Achievement Ceremony (June 16, 2004). At your exit interview with an SCE counselor you will be given a graduation packet, this packet will provide you with the necessary information and timelines for participating in the ceremony and confirming your graduation status.
You must file a graduation application to receive your diploma. Students near completion of the high school requirements must complete the application for graduation. This application alerts the School of Continuing Education that a student intends to graduate soon and is requesting their diploma. We also encourage you to participate in the Graduation & Achievement Ceremony.
SUBMIT your application to the Records office at the Wilshire Center. Only those completing the high school requirements will be able to "walk" in the Graduation Ceremony. Students who do not complete all requirements by the above deadline will be able to apply for graduation at any point upon completion of requirements and apply to participate in the graduation ceremony the following year. |
